- Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno - Born July 2, 1960, the 50-year old Justice is the youngest to be appointed to the SC in this century. She is also seen to be one of the longest-serving justices so far as she is set to mandatorily retire after serving a 20-year term in 2030.
- Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro - appointed to the Supreme Court on December 3, 2007. She is an alumna of the University of the Philippines College of Law where she finished Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1968 and Bachelor of Law in 1972 at the top four of her class.
